This privacy notice for Bubblic Inc. (doing business as Bubblic) (“we,” “us,” or “our“), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share ( “process“) your information when you use our services (“Services“), such as when you use our iOS and Android mobile apps listed at https://www.bubblic.app and https://www.bubblic.co . One of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Bubblic and how we use it.

Your approximate location is collected only at the moment of checking in your loneliness responses. We do not track your location otherwise.
The location accuracy is reduced at the device level (using LocationAccuracyStatus.reduced in Flutter’s Geolocator package) and is further reduced by our server to approximately 3 mile (i.e. 5 km) accuracy before being saved in an Amazon DynamoDB entry corresponding to your hashed username (not your username).
Your username and email address are managed and protected separately by Amazon Cognito and are not linked to the location data.
Your voice recordings are saved in Amazon S3 and are linked to your hashed username (NOT your username or email) in Amazon DynamoDB for app functionality only.

Your voice and photo messages are public (i.e., anyone can listen to it, like a public forum) by nature of the app, unless they are specifically sent as private messages accessible from “Private” tab in “Connections” page. However, we do NOT use them to train an AI model, share them with any external entities, or sell them to external entities without your express consent. You have ownership of the messages under CCPA and GDPR. We will ask for your express consent beforehand if the data are to be used for such purposes.

Bubblic follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors and users when they visit our website and our mobile apps. All hosting companies do this and are part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and time stamp. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the website and the apps, and gathering demographic information. Our Privacy Policy was created with the help of the Privacy Policy Generator and the Online Privacy Policy Generator.
We do not run ads on our website and our mobile apps. We value our users as our customers, not as our products to advertisers.
